The charge: Criminal Trespassing
Story: There was construction going on, on a nearby bridge, so me and dad went to go check it out. Next to said bridge was what seemed like an abandoned 2 story warehouse (and empty fucking warehouse). Me and dad go in to check it out. Only to be greeted by 3 cops: 1 with a pistol, 1 with a tazer, and 1 with an automatic shotgun. We were booked and all that, locked in for a few hours. However, all 3 cops forgot 1 thing before booking us: No rights were read. I was at the youth center (kiddie prison) for about 2 hours, then got transferred to the county youth center (basically only has doors that lead outside locked) until midnight when mom picked me up.
Court case is pending at this moment, dad is in court right now. They told mom they may just drop my case seeing as how I live in a different state and all that.
All this has taught me something: Cops hate it when they cannot intimidate you. Also, dad's a fucking idiot.

I'm no expert on the law, but isn't not reading the Miranda rights to the arrested illegal or something? Can't the case be thrown out just for that?
Anyway, good luck. I hope you get out of this okay.

Yes, it can get tossed out right then and there, which is why we're going to make sure it's known that no rights were read to us.
